We aim to hold practical conservation workdays at One Tree Hill on a monthly basis during the autumn and winter. We do things like coppicing (as above), scrub clearance, litter picking and environmental education eg learning to identify trees, plants, birds, butterflies and other wildlife on One Tree Hill. It’s a great way to learn practical skills, get some fresh air and reconnect with a local wild green space of ancient origins. Our usual workday is the 3rd Saturday of the month, but sometimes it needs to be changed to another week, always with prior notice through our workday email.
