The Friends of One Tree Hill are thrilled to invite you to our second Summer Solstice Party!!

Hosted by poet-in-residence Hasti, join us for a DIY event featuring poetry, ecology, folk music, radical history and tree lore, as well as zines and crafts from local makers.

June 21, starting at 4pm, on the meadow on One Tree Hill (w3w: clever.singer.duty.) Bring something to sit on, drinks, picnics, etc.!

7.10 London National Park City ranger Christopher Collier will explore the myths and folklore connected with the trees and plants growing upon One Tree Hill. Expect tales of midsummer magic, faery feats, and plant persons from mighty Oaks to sneaky Dandelions.

There will also be a zine table with publications from local projects (please do bring your own work to share and sell!). Including:

And potter Erin Liu will share her work once again with the One Tree Hill community, with a few pieces for sale to those who can be tempted! @e_pot_

No tickets. Please note that the meadow is technically step-free, but the gradient is steep and bumpy. The event will go ahead as planned unless it is raining torrentially. We have a couple of back-up plans – if in doubt, please do check in with @friends_of_one_tree_hill
